The following individuals received McNeill-Nott Awards in 2012:

Christopher Gibisch: for Gongga Shan (aka Minyan Konka)  the easternmost 7000m peak in Asia, in the Sichuan province of Western China. 

Michael Royer: To explore and attempt first ascents of the peaks and cliffs of the Timmiarmiut fjord in southeastern Greenland.
