Field Trip A:  

Denali National Park Visitor Center Tour

Approximately 12 hours roundtrip time. This road trip is a highlight for many
visitors, taking advantage of the beautiful fall color change. The
trip will include a Denali sled dog demonstration, wildlife viewing
opportunities and a tour of Denali National Park Visitor Center.  Time
will be given to purchase a lunch and dinner.

Departure at 8 a.m. from the Sheldon Hanger on September 12.  

Cost: $60 per person.

Field Trip B:  

Denali State Park Hike

5 hours hiking, approximately 8 hours roundtrip time.  The hike will start from Byers Lake in Denali
State Park and continue up the new Cascade trail to gain the
spectacular Kesugi Ridge.  Elevation gain of 1700 feet in 8 miles
roundtrip. This is not a difficult hike but requires good stamina.
Hiking boots and rain gear are required. If weather allows, views of
the Alaska Range are spectacular.  Lunch will be provided.

Departure at 8:30 a.m. from the Sheldon Hanger on September 12.  

Cost: $30 per person.
