American Alpine Club Launches New Informational Campaign

3/5/2011, Golden, CO—The American Alpine Club has launched a new informational campaign that combines stunning photography with straightforward descriptions of the Club’s membership benefits: rescue services, lodging discounts, the Grand Teton Climbers’ Ranch, guidebook services, The American Alpine Journal, and more.

The new campaign features images from photographers such as Andrew Burr and John Scurlock, whose subject matter will appeal to alpinists, boulderers, and all climbers in between. Eight images are available for download in high resolution for use as desktop wallpapers or to share with friends.

The Unite Campaign, named for the AAC’s Vision of “uniting climbers to advance the climbing way of life,” will reach both AAC members and non-members. Current members may realize additional advantages to membership, and non-members will be introduced to the AAC’s impressive suite of benefits for the first time.

As the AAC adds and enhances existing benefits, the Unite Campaign will expand as well. Check back throughout 2011 for new downloadable photos and accompanying wisecracks.
