Andrew Edwards ($300) along with one climbing partner will spend 2-3 weeks in Grand Teton National Park with hopes of doing multiple routes.
Jon Jugenheimer ($500) Jon and his climbing partner Eric Dacus are headed to Alaska to climb the SW Ridge of peak 11,300 and two other climbs on the Moose’s Tooth. Two aspiring alpinists looking for a teaching climb to take skills to the bigger mountains in the range in 2014, and 2015.
Kyle Goupil ($200) For a climbing trip to the Red River Gorge in Slade, Kentucky. The trip will take place in mid-May with a group of four very close-knit climbers.
Mara Johnson-Groh ($250) To go climbing at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Arkansas for sport climbing and bouldering to allow her to continue the development of her climbing skills as well as escape her comfort zone and emerge in the world of “real climbing”.
Ross McKinney ($500) along with his climbing partner Stephanie Takamatsu will travel to the Buttermilks in California to experience the boulder problems that the Buttermilk Maine Area has to offer.
Ryan Gajewski ($250) along with Jake Burgart will travel to Yosemite to attempt their first big wall, the Northwest Face of Half Dome. This trip will be the next evolution in their climbing.
