We have rented a deluxe Airbnb Las Vegas home with internet, cable, washer & dryer, a laptop friendly workspace, patio, BBQ, modern kitchen, and other essentials. The five large bedrooms have multiple beds, so expect to share a room. Stay for all seven days, or come for any part of the week! The house is located 20 minutes from the entrance of Red Rock park. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and more within five minutes of our location.

We will stock the kitchen with breakfast and lunch fixings, and drinks ranging from mineral water to alcohol.

April 21: Check-in at anytime after 3pm. If you are celebrating Easter at home you can arrive on April 22 or any day after—this is a base camp for your convenience!

April 22: Participants are welcome to join on a single pitch orientation day. Get your limbs warmed up, meet others in the group, and get some good beta on the layout of the park and the different climbing sectors. We’ll host a group dinner Monday night.

April 23–26: Daily top-ropes on single pitch climbs. Where we go will depend on weather factors. As this is a BASE CAMP package, you are free to get out and have an adventure with other participants.

Note: Your hosts will be experienced climbers from the AAC staff, but will not be professional guides.

Do you have a long route in mind, want to learn more about lead climbing, or just have a great day with a guide out on some single pitch terrain? We have partnered with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides-Red Rock to provide a discount on guided outings. We can also arrange clinics with JHMG if a group has certain skills they are interested in learning.

While you absolutely don’t have to be a Great Ranges Fellowship member to enjoy this Red Rocks Basecamp, the GRF is an opportunity to get first dibs on these trips, among many other benefits.

Whether you are into extended backpacking trips, technical routes, or glacier travel, we have something for you. As a Club, we understand how important it is to travel and climb with friends, new and old, that share the same outdoor values, passion, and ethics. AAC members embrace the same spirit and mission across every climbing discipline. Each trip is coordinated with a trusted AAC guide service partner and includes a bit of AAC swag and some serious fun.
