This is the inaugural meeting of the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Alpine Club held at GP-81. Co-Chairs and Founders David Sewell and Timur Tusiray will lay out the vision they have for the chapter, open up the discussion to attendees to find out how they think this chapter can best serve the climbing community of Brooklyn, and discuss volunteer chapter positions available for those who are interested in taking a more active role!

GP-81 has generously offered attendees a discounted day pass to climb at their excellent bouldering gym, as well as waiving the prorated membership fee for May for those who wish to join the gym.
