Meet Your Section Chair:
Lee Jenkins started climbing in 1973 near Washington DC—Great Falls National Park was his training ground. He soon moved on to Seneca Rocks, WV where he learned traditional climbing. Since then Lee has traveled and climbed all over North America. He has climbed extensively in the North Cascades and Tetons including Mt. Rainer, Mt. Stuart, Forbidden Peak, Grand Teton, Middle Teton, Teewinot, Nez Pierce and many others. Lee has had a successful career in high technology and is now semi-retired, leaving him with plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful mountains around his home in Buena Vista, CO.
