Callie Marie Rennison: A seasoned researcher in sexual misconduct, Dr. Rennison is a professor of criminology in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. A veteran of the Department of Justice, she has authored multiple textbooks on criminology, criminal justice, research methodology, and victimization. Dr. Rennison is responsible for the content and methodology of the survey, and is a critical partner in driving best practices for protecting survivors and addressing perpetrators.
Charlie Lieu: A trained data scientist and operational strategist, Ms. Lieu is the founder of Lieuca Advisors, a management consulting firm focused on complex data-driven strategic operations and program development. She currently holds an appointment as an affiliate researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Ms. Lieu is credited with starting the #SafeOutside movement, and is leading operations and victim advocacy, as well as supporting partners in policy and procedural refinement or development.
Katie Ives: An award-winning journalist, Ms. Ives has worked at Alpinist since 2004, and served as Editor-in-Chief since 2012. Her support helped spur #SafeOutside into existence. In addition to editing the survey, reports and supporting materials, she was instrumental in engaging press partners to lend their voices.
