The Hueco Rock Ranch is the best place to stay if you're climbing in Hueco. Located outside El Paso, TX, and only a mile from Hueco Tanks—the best bouldering on the planet—the Ranch is the perfect spot to set up shop and hang with your fellow climbers.

No, HRR is open to everyone! AAC members receive discounted rates on stay.

Only guests who have paid for private rooms or communal bunks are allowed in the house. Exceptions for this may include specified community gathering events.

The Barn is open to the public. This not only includes guests who are paying to stay in the campground but also community members as a space to gather after a day of climbing.
Please consider making a donation while utilizing this space to help support the Hueco Rock Ranch.

Well-behaved pets are welcome at the campground as long as they are on-leash at all times
Please do not leave your pets unattended. Please pick up all your pet’s waste!
While pets are allowed in the barn, NO pets are permitted in the bunkhouse.
Please be respectful: If your pet is disturbing other guests, or the campground hosts believes them to be disruptive, you will be asked to leave with no refund.

Yes it is. Water is routinely trucked into the valley by a water delivery truck and stored in water tanks onsite. For this reason, we want to raise awareness that our water is a limited resource and encourage everyone to be mindful of their water use when using the sinks to wash dishes as well as take showers. Just like many public water sources, some people do not like the taste of the water and in those scenarios we suggest bringing your own drinking water.
