Adventure, inspiration, commitment, and inclusion are at the heart of the American Alpine Club—and so is the belief that climbing is better when we experience it together. In fiscal year 2026, our work to unite climbers and celebrate climbing culture took many forms. We helped climbers pursue ambitious objectives, find inspiration in the achievements and the stories of others, build confidence and skills, and deepen their connection to a community that stretches across generations and around the world.
The numbers that follow tell part of that story. The real impact is in the climbers behind them—their growth, their courage, their connections, and the moments that remind us why we climb.
This is how we unite climbers. This is how we celebrate climbing culture. This is how we move forward, together.
Support the Club
Donate today and support the AAC’s work. Just like putting in the work on your climbing project, or that long hike to an obscure alpine adventure, we all know that it takes dedication to progress in climbing. It is the dedication of donors and supporters like you that helps the AAC progress in our work—so thank you!
