Aimed at providing additional support for the CGF therapist network, this month’s webinar has a widespread appeal for all mountain athletes and is open to the public.
Paige Zuckerman, CMHC Clinical & Co-Executive Director of Red Willow Counseling & Recovery will be focusing on a mind-body integration on the mental & emotional recovery from physical injury and disabling events, whether full or partial recovery is the long-term prognosis.

Fostering Resilience
90 minutes
Resilience is the ability to face adversity with flexibility and grace.This workshop aims to offer frameworks, concepts, and language regarding resilience and it’s connection to climbing and the natural world
Grief and Loss
90-120 minutes (customized)
This workshop aims to provide support for groups, families, and communities in offering psychoeducation as they navigate the initial stages of their grief.
Leadership and crisis management in times of grief
90 minutes
This workshop aims to support communities and organizational leadership through the process of managing grief. Sky Yardeni, Therapeutic Director of the Climbing Grief Fund engages critical questions such as, ‘What is our role as an organization? What is the scope of responsibility of this organization/community in regards to tragedy and holding space for community grief?
A variety of topics can be covered, such as vulnerable leadership, psychoeducation material, comparison of pain, compartmentalizing (supporting and needing support), decision making processes on moving forward, how to navigate and manage social dynamics, Covid-19 challenges and considerations, memorials, contact with the family, providing resources and also referring out.
