American Alpine Club’s 2026 Gala Auction Is Now Open

The American Alpine Club’s 2026 Annual Gala silent auction is now open! With dozens of unique packages up for bid, climbers can find one-of-a-kind artwork, sought-after gear, unforgettable experiences, and more while supporting the AAC’s mission to unite climbers and advance climbing.

This year’s auction features gear from brands that support the Club’s work, original artwork and photography, and memorabilia. Highlights include original photo prints by the late Bradford Washburn, a 1940s collection of the American Alpine Journal, stays at AAC lodging facilities, The North Face’s new Universal One Bag, and opportunities to get out in the mountains with professional climbers like Eddie Taylor.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your kit, bring a piece of climbing history home, or plan your next adventure, the auction offers something for everyone. And every winning bid helps support the AAC’s year-round work.

The bidding continues at the Gala. In addition to the silent auction, three items will be available through the live auction at the Annual Gala on October 24 in Golden, Colorado: a backcountry ski adventure with Brody Leven, a Bishop climbing adventure with Nina Williams, and an original, signed Bradford Washburn photograph.

Don’t miss your chance to find something special and support the climbing community.
