Support the Places That Support Climbers

The American Alpine Club is proud to announce its participation in the 2026 Old Bill’s Fun Run, where they are raising funds to support the famous Grand Teton Climbers’ Ranch with a generous match from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.

The Club is also inviting climbers to support its other four facilities, including New River Gorge Campground, Samuel F. Pryor III Shawangunk Campground, Rumney Rattlesnake Campground, and Hueco Rock Ranch, to prepare for an offseason of improvements across all sites.

The AAC's five lodging facilities provide affordable places to stay, build community, and create lifelong memories next to some of the country’s best crags. Each facility is open to the public, and accommodations range from communal tent campgrounds, to bunked cabins, to private rooms in air-conditioned homes. These spaces are designed for climbers, by climbers, and give guests a camping experience rooted in shared interests, steps away from projects worth returning to day after day, and year after year.

“A great place to rest your head and your body before and after any adventure inside Grand Teton National Park. Awesome atmosphere and amazing way to meet other super adventurous people.”

–Westley S., Grand Teton Climbers’ Ranch Guest

Stories like these are common across the Club’s lodging facilities, with each space building its own legacy through the memories made—from sending a project, to winding down by the campfire at the end of the day. The continuation of these special moments and stories relies on generous support. Gifts to AAC campgrounds fund essential repairs and improvements so that each site can continue to provide a welcoming, affordable home base—and awesome atmosphere—for climbers now and for generations to come.
